Division Young Marines Year of the 2018 Winners in each of Six Young Marines Divisions will vie for the title of “National Young Marine of the Year” at the Adult Leaders’ Conference in San Antonio, Texas. Division 1- YM/Sgt Maj Enrique Herrera, of the TriState Young Marines in Weirton, West Virginia. Division 2 - YM/Sgt Maj Lauren Loria, of the Col. Wesley Fox Young Marines in Sterling, Virginia Division 3 - YM/Sgt Maj Samuel Styes, of the Rocket City Younhg Marines in Huntsville, Alabama Division 4 - YM/Sgt Maj Kayla Colacion, of the Tarrant County Young Marines, in Fort Worth, Texas Division 5 - YM/Sgt Maj Robert Brushaber, of the Monroe County Young Marines in Monroe, Michigan Division 6 - YM/Sgt Maj Jascha Ely, of the East Valley Young Marines in Mesa, Arizona “Each division winner competed at the highest level, and each demonstrates the exemplary qualities of a Young Marine,” said Col William P. Davis (Ret), National Executive DIrector and CEO of the young Marines.“Their communities , divisions and fellow Young Marines should be proud of the accomplishments of one of their own.” Each honoree is awarded a cash scholarship and will travel across the United States All six Division Young Marines are invited to the annual Reunion of Honor trip to Guam and Iwo Jima. These visits are in honor the 73rd anniversary of the Battles of Iwo Jima and the 74th anniver- sary of Guam. The Young Marines serve as escorts for veterans during the trip. One Young Marine is selected from each division, the from these six winners, one will be named National Young Marine of the Year.
