Below is the (tentative) schedule of events for the 2017 Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Parade and events. Please ensure that when you plan your Unit adventures on the Island you do not conflict with any National HQ’s events. December 3rd : Barracks will open up at 1600 until 2200 (for those personnel staying in the barracks).  Linen will be supplied to all personnel in the barracks.  There is no charge for the barracks.  Space is first come first serve (rooms will be assigned by the National HQ’s).  Units must provide their own Transportation to the Base. December 4th : Beach cleanup and Community Service for 0900 to 1000 (This is a mandatory project for those units staying in the barracks,) K’Bay adventure - Motivation hike up Sniper’s Hill and then a beach luau (This event is TBD all units are invited for an awesome time on the base more info to come.) December 5th : OPEN DAY OF UNIT ADVENTURES ON HAWAII - ENJOY AND EXPLORE!!! December 6th : Wreath presentation at the National Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl). Please arrive by 0900. Ceremonies will take place at 0930 to 1000. The Young Marines will be presenting a wreath at the Punchbowl Cemetery in honor of our fallen service personnel. After the ceremonies, take some time to respectfully visit the cemetery and then continue with your exploration of the island! December 7th : Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Parade, please ensure you are at Ft. DeRussy park by 1530. (Fort DeRussy Park, Kalia Road, Honolulu, HI 96815) located 2.2 miles north of Waikiki beach.  3:00pm All personnel arrive at the park for assignments  4:00pm Banner assignments and parade formations  5:00pm Opening Ceremony - Fort DeRussy Park  6:00pm Parade Begins on Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki  7:00pm Closing Ceremony and Picnic (Unit’s discretion to participate) - In front of Honolulu Zoo where parade ends.
