Young Marines is open to all youths ages 8 through 18 or completion of high school; whichever comes last. Membership requirements are - youth must be in good standing in school and no criminal history.
Since the Young Marines’ beginnings in 1959, with one unit and a handful of boys, the organization has grown to encompass boys and girls with units throughout the country and overseas.
Be ready for adventure with camping, marching in parades, helping your community, and honoring veterans! Travel – travel in the local area is always exciting, but once a Young Marine has been in the program for at least one year and reaches the age of 11 the travel adventure starts to really open. Want to do a cattle drive / see Civil War sites and/or Revolutionary War sites / learn sailing or rock climbing / learn leadership while making friends from across the country?. All awaits – begin your adventure today!

Click on the unit or units closest to you and information regarding that unit and their contact information will appear. Once you find a unit close to you, you can reach out to them to inquire about joining or click on their “contact us” link to submit a request for more information.
1. Obey my parents and all others in charge of me whether young or old.
2. Keep myself neat at all times without other people telling me to.
3. Keep myself clean in mind by attending the church of my faith.
4. Keep my mind alert to learn in school, at home, or at play.
5. Remember having self-discipline will enable me to control my body and mind in case of an emergency.
